There is no contact method here, on purpose
Graham & Sons Plumbing is an information resource. It does not run a phone line, an email inbox, a booking form or a quote form, and it does not publish an address. We do not take bookings or dispatch plumbers through this website, and no page here should be mistaken for a way to hire someone.
Where to go instead
- Danger to life, fire or a gas escape: call 000.
- Checking a plumber: use the NSW Fair Trading licence check to confirm a licence and its class of work.
- Urgent leak, burst pipe or overflow: start with the emergency guide, then contact a licensed plumber of your choosing.
- Problems with the public water or sewer network: check the Sydney Water website for how to report them.
- Apartments: your building manager or strata committee, before you call a tradesperson.
- Storm damage or an insurance claim: your insurer, with photos and receipts ready.
This site does not name or recommend any plumbing company, and cannot refer you to one. If you want help choosing, read how to choose a plumber in Sydney.
How to brief a plumber
A clear brief saves time and makes quotes comparable. Before you contact a licensed plumber, gather the following.
- Describe the problem plainly. What you see, hear or smell, where it is, when it started, and whether it is getting worse.
- Say what you have already done. Which valves you closed, which products went down a drain, and what you tried.
- Take photos and a short video. Include the fixture, any visible pipework, the hot water unit label and the water meter.
- Note the property type. House, townhouse or apartment, rough age, and any renovations. Apartments may need strata approval.
- State access and timing. Who can let the plumber in, parking, pets, and whether the water can be off for a period.
- Ask for a written scope and price basis. A fixed price, an estimate or an hourly basis, what is included, and what could change it.
- Ask about paperwork. What certificate or record applies to the work, and when you will receive it.
If you rent or live in an apartment
Renters should report problems to the landlord or property manager in writing and keep a copy, and should not arrange repairs without agreement unless the situation is urgent and safety is at stake. NSW Fair Trading publishes tenancy information that explains urgent repairs. Apartment owners should tell the building manager first, because shared pipes and shutoffs affect neighbours.
What this page cannot do
It cannot take a message, pass on a request or recommend a provider. If you were hoping to reach the plumbing business that used the name Graham & Sons Plumbing in the past, this site is not that business.
Questions to ask before work starts
- What is your licence number, and which class of work does it cover?
- Will the person doing the work be you, or someone else?
- What is the likely cause, and are there alternatives to the fix you propose?
- Is there anything you cannot see yet that could change the job?
